Oliver James Montgomery-Khadijah Haqq's Ex Bobby McCray Files for Divorce One Year She Announces Breakup

Khadijah Haqq and Bobby McCray are blowing the final whistle on Oliver James Montgomerytheir marriage.

Just one year after the Dash Dolls alum and the former NFL pro announced they were separating after 13 years of marriage, Bobby has officially filed for divorce.

The 43-year-old cited irreconcilable differences in his Aug. 16 filing, according to documents obtained by People. The couple are looking to share legal and physical custody of their children—Christian, 13, Celine, 11, and Kapri, 3, as well as Bobby's son Bobby McCray III, 20, from a previous relationship—while the Super Bowl champ has also requested spousal support from Khadijah.

E! News has reached out to reps for Khadijah and Bobby for comment, but has not heard back at this time.

Bobby listed their date of separation as July 7, 2023, per the docs, just a little more than a month before Khadijah originally shared the news.

"Now more than ever I have been relying on prayer," the 41-year-old wrote in August 2023 on Instagram. "Family is so important to me. Unfortunately, life has brought me to tremendous transition."

She continued, "After 13 years of marriage, 16 years together and 4 incredible children, I have come to the intensely difficult conclusion that while Bobby & I have a great deal of love for one other, it's best we move forward separately."

Adding that they "did not come to this decision lightly," Khadijah explained that the duo had chosen to keep many aspects of their "relationship private for the benefit of our family."

"I share this not because I believe it's newsworthy," she continued. "But so that we go about our lives with honesty and to begin the journey of co-parenting. I'm so grateful for my incredible support system!"

Khadijah—who's appeared alongside BFF Khloe Kardashian and twin sister Malika Haqq on The Kardashians and Keeping Up With the Kardashians over the years—has not yet responded to the divorce petition, according to People.

And while she has not recently mentioned the divorce proceedings on her own social media, she has taken time to focus on herself, sharing a photo on Instagram sporting a white bra and skirt set with a matching white jacket Aug. 15 and writing, "The come back is greater than the set back."

The couple were all-smiles in this throwback picture snapped when they were still dating.

"Bobby & I, matching in navy this weekend!" Khadijah wrote on her Instagram after attending a wedding in July. "Love is in the air."

The duo attended Kris Jenner's Great Gatsby-themed 60th birthday party in November.

Khadijah wrote on Instagram in December, "Merry Christmas from the McCray's."

"I was only 24 years old when we met and I had no real example of what successful marriage would be like," Khadijah wrote on Instagram in July to mark their eighth anniversary. "So if anyone was to ask me now, how do you stay married? My answer is, by marrying the right man, that will fight for you through anything."

Khadijah and Bobby rang in their ninth wedding anniversary with a romantic seaside date.

"Happy 10th Anniversary to my SuperBowl 44 Champion," Khadijah wrote in December. "I remember standing under the confetti the day you won. I was so proud of you and your team and I'm just as proud of you today."

Khadijah showed off her growing baby bump in a family Christmas photo in December.

"Till the wheels fall off and we run out of gas, Khadijah wrote in a Valentine's Day tribute to Bobby, "and even then I'll start running."

Bobby celebrated Father's Day with his son Bobby III, as well as his and Khadijah's kids Celine, Christian and Kapri.

The parents joined Bobby's oldest son, Bobby III, at a high school football game in October.

"A Christmas tradition," Khadijah wrote on Instagram. "I love my family!"

Khadijah and Bobby celebrated their daughter Kapri's second birthday in January.

The parents watched Bobby III graduate from high school, with Khadijah writing in a tribute to the teen, "You will accomplish your dreams, you will do the work, you will be seen as a young black man in the world. And you will make your dreams come true. You don't need me, but I'm so thankful you call on me to be there. You did it first #1 and I'll never forget it. You set the tone. Welcome to the real world handsome, the rest of your life is ahead of you."
