For Chris Appleton, Lukas Gage is really a cut above the rest.
As the celebrity hairstylist—who was honored with the Hair Artist of the Year award at The Daily Front Row's Seventh Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards—noted, he has a lot to be thankful for currently, including his fiancé.
"Thank you to Lukas for being my rock and putting up with me," the 39-year-old said during his acceptance speech on April 23. "And making me feel perfect when I know I'm not."
Chris also went on to gush about client Kim Kardashian, who alongside daughter North West, helped present him with the evening's honor. "And most of all, thank you to Kim," he continued. "Everyone says this—anyone I've ever met says how kind she is. Honestly, she's the nicest person I've ever met. She's so giving, so generous and really doesn't have to be."
Chris' sweet shout-out to the White Lotus star comes nearly three weeks after a source confirmed the pair's engagement to E! News. After being first linked in late February following a series of outings, Chris opened up about the couple's romance.
"I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special," he said during the March 17 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. "Love is a really special thing, and I think meeting someone you connect with is really, really special."
As for the You actor, 27, he's also gushed about finding the one.
"I feel very happy," Lukas said during the March 27 episode of Today, adding that he's "very lucky and very much in love."
But Chris wasn't the only one in attendance at this year's event presented by FIJI Water. Keep reading to see some of the celebs present.
